Twelve weeks. Three phases. In that order, for a reason. Each phase builds the body the next one needs — first the legs, then the load, then the oxygen debt you'll meet on the mountain.

Phase 01

Base

Weeks 1-4

Build aerobic base and unloaded stair volume so the legs can take the work

Sample session

60-minute continuous stairwell climb, no pack, building from 20 to 45 floors

Phase 02

Load

Weeks 5-8

Add the pack you'll actually carry and train your legs and back under that weight

Sample session

Weighted stair intervals: 8 floors loaded, 2 floors recovery, pack rising from 20 to 35 pounds

Phase 03

Thin Air

Weeks 9-12

Train in the altitude room to manage oxygen debt so your body adapts before your flight does

Loaded climb at simulated 4,000m: managed-effort intervals with heart-rate and oxygen-saturation tracking

Coached Sessions

Every stairwell session is programmed and coached, never a solo grind.

Pack Training

Loaner packs and plates for every session; we help you fit and weight your own.

Altitude Room

Hypoxic tent room access dialed to ~4,000m, paired with a managed-effort plan.
